October 23, 2025, Xi’an——The 9th National Symposium on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines and Related Materials (NCPP‑9) of the Chinese Chemical Society and the 3rd Asian Conference on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines and Related Materials (ACPP‑3) were grandly held in the ancient capital of Xi’an. The conference, with the theme “Focusing on Carbon Macrocycles, Serving Carbon Neutrality”, brought together academicians of both academies, Changjiang Scholars, recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and top experts and scholars from home and abroad to conduct high-level academic exchanges and industry matchmaking on the synthesis, structure, photoelectrochemical catalytic mechanisms and applications of macrocyclic molecules such as porphyrins and phthalocyanines (including electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, bioimaging and pharmaceuticals). The conference set up four thematic sub-forums: “Synthesis & Properties, Electrocatalysis, Photocatalysis, Biomedicine & Imaging”, aiming to promote interdisciplinary research, strengthen translation pathways from fundamental research to engineering-scale applications, and serve the national “dual‑carbon” and green manufacturing strategies.

As an exhibitor and technical service provider at this conference, Beijing Pofilai Technology Co., Ltd. presented the company’s core products in photochemistry and photoelectrocatalysis equipment, and focused on showcasing technical solutions tailored to porphyrin/phthalocyanine research and application scenarios. Aware of the key role of carbon macrocycles in catalysis, photoelectric conversion and biomedical applications, our exhibits and services emphasize three major capabilities: high-sensitivity detection, controllable light sources, and scalable continuous-flow testing, helping research teams efficiently carry out mechanism analysis and process scale-up.
μGAS1001 Trace Gas Reaction Evaluation System
The μGAS1001 Trace Gas Reaction Evaluation System is an upgraded version of the Labsolar-6A all-glass automatic online trace gas analysis system. It is a catalytic activity evaluation system suitable for catalytic reactions that produce trace gases, such as overall photocatalytic water splitting and photocatalytic CO₂ reduction reactions. The main unit integrates a control unit, gas circulation module, automatic sampling module and reactor module.
PLS-CS300 Xenon Lamp Light Source
Based on market demand and optimizations in optics and structure, this product has been improved in many aspects, including appearance optimization, structural miniaturization, adaptation to cooling scenarios, optical stability, and electrical parameter stability. The product mainly consists of four parts: the light source, power supply box, optical path steering filter, and accessories. Each part can be customized according to different user needs.
Continuous-Flow Photoelectrocatalytic Testing System PL-PEC2000
The continuous-flow electrochemical/photoelectrocatalytic reaction testing platform provides a set of systems for product separation, drying and measurement, and reserves collection ports so that users can collect and analyze samples themselves and directly use them in subsequent reactions, thereby helping analysts to easily determine reaction products.

During the conference, Pofilai’s booth attracted a large number of experts, young scholars and company representatives engaged in porphyrin and phthalocyanine research. Our technical team held in-depth discussions with multiple research groups on core issues such as spectral matching of light sources, quantification methods for gaseous products, and continuous-flow scale-up pathways, and reached several follow-up intentions regarding prototype testing, joint projects and pilot-scale connections. Pofilai is willing to provide prototype validation, experimental method optimization and engineering scale-up consultation to research institutions and pharmaceutical companies, assisting in advancing key academic results toward industrial implementation and jointly promoting the high-quality translation and industrialization of porphyrin, phthalocyanine and related carbon macrocycle chemistry in the fields of energy, catalysis and biomedicine.
